| Phase 5 for 2-8 degree shipments
Phase
5, our most recent breakthrough for the Pharmaceutical industry
for critical 2-8 degree Celsius product shipments is now available
in our new Temperature Control Panel design.
In the past, 2-8 degree range was very difficult to maintain
because wet ice or standard gel packs hold the temperature
of this product at 0 degrees or less, which could freeze it
and have a catastrophic result to the product in transit.
Until this point, the issue of freezing product was resolved
by creating a buffer such as a refrigerated gel pack or bubble
wrap between the payload and the ice pack. Although these
methods will prevent the product from freezing, it limits
the transit time at 2-8 degrees. Phase 5
freezes at 5 degrees Centigrade.

How do you do this?
1. To keep your product at a constant
2-8 degrees C: |
|
• |
Payload should be at desired 2-8 degree
temperature. |
|
• |
Freeze Phase 5 product at a temperature of below
5 degrees. |
|
• |
Pack out product as your validation requires |
|
• |
Ship package |
2. To prevent your payload from freezing: |
|
• |
Keep phase 5 in a liquid state and surround
payload. |
| • |
As the ambient temperature goes below 4 degrees,
the phase 5 will freeze before your product, preventing
your payload from freezing. |
