Some people call these phase change materials or phase change. -20c phase change and 2-8 phase change materials are typical temperature range. Gel pouches and ice pouches are low temperature refrigerants. 20 below refrigerants, 20 below gel packs are used for even lower temperature applications. Refrigerated gel packs are reusable gel packs. These reusable icepacks are also reusable phase change materials. Both are non toxic gel packs and are food grade gel packs. Some people call them food grade ice packs or food grade gel pouch. TCP manufactures these items using the brand names cryo gel, cryo gel blue, cryogel 2, cryogel, cryogel blue, no sweat laminate pouch, no sweat gel pack. Another type of item is a saddlebag gel pack or mat style gel packs.
