Cryopak Webinar - Use of Thermal Modeling Software
The webinar will focus on finite element analysis (FEA), a computational technique used in the simulation of complex physical phenomena such as heat transfer. It involves the division of a digital model into small domains in which the relevant physical equations can be calculated. Finite element thermal modeling of Cryopak’s thermal packaging solutions enhances the design process by allowing a large variety of design options to be investigated, decreasing the need for test chamber time, and allowing design work to be carried out without a prototype. An introduction to FEA, an overview of the challenges in obtaining accurate simulation results, and comparisons of simulation and chamber test results will be presented.
